A lot of the top wealthy people did not ‘work hard’ to achieve the American dream. They made their money on the backs of low income workers, by scavenging the Earth’s resources or by encouraging rampant consumerism, which hurts both workers and the Earth. Other wealthy people inherited their money from generations past who colonized, enslaved and exploited this country. Besides, no one actually ‘owns’ anything. We come into this world wit nothing and we leave the same way. In between, we are asked to be stewards, not hoarders…
