Absolutely, when my grandmother’s dementia increased and she needed to be moved to a facility for round the clock care, both my father and uncle (her children) told me they were too busy to help, even though they are retired. So my sister and I, the grand daughters who are both working full time jobs had to take weeks off to clean out her house, sell it, move her in, talk with her doctors and caregivers, provide emotional support with no assistance. The extra labor expected from women by men is a beat down.
