Actually, this isn’t correct. So many coaches, therapists, healers and colleagues in this industry are dedicated sacred activists. Using their platforms, voice, influence and funding to contribute to social justice, without feeling like we have to shoulder all of the burden to shift our current societal narrative solely.

Are there performative allies? To be sure that’s something every white person in the self-help industry, hell any industry should be continuously contemplating. But to make blanket statements, especially if you don’t work in said industry is shortsighted.

Actually, I believe many personal, professional and spiritual growth teachers are steadily amplifying their voice, just for this purpose. It is why it’s called a consciousness movement, after all…
