As a GenXer, I can unequivocally state that my generation was never ‘grandfathered’ into anything, including leadership positions. We were mostly forgotten between the navel gazing of Boomers and Millennials, a small number of hard workers, who were mostly quiet and holding it all together. At age 50, I would love for you people in their 80s to step down and give us a chance to lead, but that’s not going to happen. By the way, we are almost as tech-savvy as GenY, we just don’t get credit for it…
