Being a renter doesn’t mean you haven’t ‘grown up’. I bought a house in my early twenties, spent ten year renovating it, only to sell it for exactly what I owed on it. Since then, I have rented and all those extra costs are my landlords responsibility. As a renter, I have the freedom to change locations once a year, if I don’t like the neighborhood, or want to move somewhere better.
