Calling all Empath Activists…
When you think about an empath, you might assume I’m talking about people who find themselves completely overwhelmed by the energy of the world.
We are, sometimes.
However, we not only feel the energy underneath all that’s happening, but we’re also inspired to take action to make the world a better place.
It’s why I believe empaths make great activists.
Activism happens at every level of our society. It starts in your own life, where you become your strongest advocate. It happens in your family, where you stand up for what is true and just.
Activism shows up in our local communities: who runs for office, who leads our schools and who sets the tone and culture within our corporations. Your volunteer leadership means everything to the youth you’re mentoring or the community gardens you’re cultivating.
Whether giving locally or making an impact halfway around the world, your empathic gifts are sorely needed right now.
This message recently flowed through me:
Sensitives and empaths have a responsibility to speak up whenever we witness violence, abuse, manipulation, narcissism and bullying.
We cannot allow those energies to gain any ground.
The future of our world is at stake.
The well-being of every empath, every human being, is at stake.
Will we continue to tread the same worn out path of competition, scarcity and control?
Or will those who are tuned-in, turn the tide and lead our world into a new era?
An era of widespread empathy, equality, prosperity and peace for all humankind.
This is not a Star Trek dream, we have the compassionate wisdom to look ahead and impact the next seven generations, when we support and uplift each other.
Let’s commit to our inner work, prepare ourselves, strengthen our communities, and have each other’s backs.
