Empaths: how well do you receive from others?

Empathic souls tend to be givers, we love nothing more than to be in service to others.

We’re drawn to opportunities when we notice something another person needs and we strive to provide that for them. We love the look on their face when they feel nurtured and cared for by us.

My question to you as an empath: how well do you receive from others?

How well do you receive compliments?

How well do you receive when someone does that extra special thing, just for you?

How well do you receive blessings, wisdom and gifts from the Universe?

In the concept of reciprocity, there is both giving and receiving. If you’ve always been in the role of service, you may find it challenging to sit back and allow abundance to flow in to your life.

Empaths are not meant to sacrifice ourselves at the expense of others. We are however, intended to be open vessels for all blessings to come our way.

This is an invitation to graciously receive.

Look around you, there are endless opportunities for you to simply say, thank you, I receive.

Not feeling obligated to give anything in return, just allowing someone else to appreciate you, to nurture you, to uplift you.

This is not selfish. Receiving actually makes other people feel great, the same way you feel when you give.

By cultivating a habit of being a gracious receiver, you attract those into your life who also wish to have a balanced relationship. A give-give dynamic.

You get to lay down the burden of carrying everything on your shoulders. You can appreciate someone else’s generosity.

So in this holiday season and flowing out into next year, give yourself the best gift — learn to receive.

Please receive my gift to you, a complimentary e-book called Empaths Finding True Love, at Last!
