Free speech is only free to the extent that a person does not cause harm to another. By continuing to perpetuate a phobia against trans people, anyone who spreads this rhetoric, even in the name of ‘comedy’ puts trans people in harm’s way. They are the group who is most likely to be murdered, simply for their way of being.

We must no longer tolerate anyone who spreads division, hatred and prejudice. Dave Chappell’s commentary stems from his insecurity as a cis-gender male, which is the dominate, accepted ‘norm’ in our society.

No one should be defending someone who spreads hatred guised as humor. But I’m not surprised, because once it becomes politically incorrect to pick on a certain group of people (as should be), then people like Chappell look for the next perceived weakest group, so he can make his millions and ‘get his’.

It never fails to amaze me how one minority group will push another one down, to win favor of those with power and money.

Aren’t we done with this bullshit yet?
