One of the questions that often arises is, how can you tell if what you receive is based on internal fears vs. tapping into the larger web of intuitive knowing?

Fear is the most powerful motivator for human beings. If we’re not conscious, fear can be a driver of many of our day-to-day behaviors, assumptions and choices. Yet, if you practice tuning in, you can begin to easily discern what is fear-based and what just feels aligned.

Fear causes contraction in your body; everything pulls in towards a defensive fetal position. This is an ancient reaction, designed to keep your internal organs, especially your heart and lungs safe from danger. Because if your heart and lungs become damaged, chances are, you may not survive.

Emotionally and energetically, as well, when you feel a contraction in your chest, when your breathing becomes shallow, when your arms and legs want to curl up to protect you — that signals fear.

While fear is uncomfortable, it’s also a message to pay attention.

Are you in actual danger? Act immediately to get yourself somewhere safe.
