I agree that both sides of the aisle use fear to retain their power and both uphold white supremacy. It is all a sham, mainly because of the purse strings pulled by mega corporate donors, the actual leaders of our country. Just abstaining to vote won’t do shit though, because the system will grind on and choose the leadership for you, under which you will still have to live, unless you decide to move to another country - which I’m seriously contemplating. We all know what the problem is, the real question is, how does a system this entrenched, one in which the average citizen has little to no power, actually change for the better?
