I hear you. I just signed up for my 2022 health insurance and noticed that almost every policy is limiting how much they will cover on blood work, I think because doctors overuse it. I too take thyroid medication and every time I see my doctor, I have to get new blood work. The last time this happened, I realized I have a 50% co-pay on diagnostics and was shocked to receive a $1800 bill from the lab. There has to be a more consistent, less exploitative way to mange chronic conditions.
