I think we all do this to an extent. When something is in our favor, it’s like this. But for other people, it has to be like that, even if they contradict each other. Like how conservatives are against abortion because of the sanctity of life and also pro-gun and war or liberals being against an exploitative capitalist system, while also actively participating in the parts of it that benefit them. Humans are complex and we cannot often see our blind spots…
