I totally disagree, I highlight articles a lot and that doesn’t mean anything except I was reading, paying attention and appreciating their point or some great phrasing. I don’t understand why a writer would want to distance themselves from readers by this kind of article. Kind of off putting — like how dare you read the way you want to read, do it my way!
