I’m deeply concerned about the global spiritual community

When I had a life-encompassing spiritual awakening nine years ago, I was a newbie. Didn’t even know, what I didn’t know.

I was grateful for the mature guidance of those who’d been studying and teaching metaphysics for some time. To kickstart my soul’s remembrance, I read ancient texts, watched modern mystics on YouTube, absorbed spiritual documentaries on Gaia.

I’ve foraged the teachings of Buddhism, Urantia, the Emerald Tablet, Madame Blavatsky, shamanism, Druidry, past-life regression and countless others. I’m fascinated by the diversity of viewpoints, ranging from love and light to intense shadow work.

So, I’m well aware of the wide variety of ideas, beliefs and stories being shared in spiritual communities. Everyone doesn’t agree on the details of why we are here, what we’re meant to do, and perhaps we’ll never agree. Differing viewpoints have been around since our ancient ancestors first came to the realization there’s something larger than oneself.

I’ve watched fellow spiritual seekers dive head-first into a particular teaching. They felt aligned with a certain mystery school or one spiritual leader. Studied only that modality — went all in.

It felt amazing to know so many people were ‘waking up’ across our planet. By waking up, I mean recognizing and owning our Divinity. Doing our inner healing, releasing generational patterning, making conscious choices, reaching a hand back to help others on a similar…
