I’m not stating that no Christians have ever been killed or persecuted for their beliefs, but you are not the only ones, nor are you the ones who have suffered the most. Many, many people of different faiths are suppressed and violence enacted upon them, including Muslims and other religious groups in this country. In human history, and continuing to this day, bad actors in the Christian faith have hurt millions of people, in order to be dominant, which is spiritual abuse. Rampant sexual abuse that’s covered up, the damaging messages encouraging women to stay with a spouse who is abusive, because divorce is sinful and shameful. The mass graves with indigenous students, who were forced to leave behind their tribal spiritual beliefs because Christians need to covert the ‘godless.’

In the U.S. Christianity has positioned itself as the dominant religious narrative, even suggesting our country was founded on a Christian principles. It was not and we don’t want one religion, to dictate how we live and what’s moral. Fix your own house, before worrying about how everyone else is living.
