Intuitives: when you see something coming and still stub your toe on it…

Ever walked around your living room, saw a piece of furniture coming and a quiet voice inside tells you, be careful! Right before you slam your big toe into the side of it.

The pain we experience in life is a lot like stubbing our toe. A part of us knows it’s coming and yet boom, there we are. Immobilized, limping, cursing and frantically rubbing to relieve our throbbing digit.

Yes, there are times when something comes up completely unexpectedly. But we have foreshadowing for most of our life occurrences.

That small, soft voice within? It’s your intuitive knowing. Your innate pattern recognition expert, who takes every memory, everything you’ve read, seen and experienced and applies it to the current situation.

And for those who believe we are physical manifestations of one Source energy, intuition is the channel to not only your Higher Self but also to collective wisdom.

Let’s explore how stubbing our toe arises most often:

Relationships, need I say more? Your interpersonal connections, the patterns you play out with others. If you’ve ever noticed a red flag in a relationship and went on with it anyway, that’s a stub your toe moment.
