It’s so strange to me that our society as a whole has divided certain days for ‘work and other days for being ‘off’. This is really only relevant to white collar, more privileged workers. For front line workers, the weekend is the time when they work the most and don’t have the luxury to decide whether they want to or not. As an entrepreneur, I mainly work weekends, because that’s when my clients are available. In a world that asynchronous, perhaps it’s time to set aside these antiquated notions. As a person who advocates for universal basic income, I would love for all people to have the financial stability to pursue what they love, so this becomes a moot point…
