Recently, I found myself procrastinating and dreading as the weekly deadline for my email message got closer. Then, I realized I was making it much too difficult, spending hours crafting different versions and multiple articles. And, the readership was steadily dropping.

So then I emailed everyone on the list to let them know I was simplifying down to one article, manageable for me and a quick read for them — win win. Several subscribers emailed back to tell me how much they appreciate what I provide and the readership has doubled.

Most importantly, my stress has been released. And, if I don’t have the bandwidth to come up with something unique for that tribe, I share one of my medium posts, which they like as much or more.

Depending upon where you are in the lifecycle of your business, emails may make sense or may not. Cost, time and ROI is always a consideration, you know what is best for your business!
