Releasing the energy of illusion…
If we take a moment to glance back at specific relationships that were painful, we may in our current understanding, begin to lift the veil.
To witness the underlying energy of how we interacted, why we made specific choices and what we’ve learned since then.
The energy of illusion is powerful for everyone. Often, we aren’t even aware we’re fooling ourselves. It seems real, so it must be, right?
Other times, we choose to be under the veil. Looking at the raw, naked truth is too painful to bear so we create a beautiful overlay, like an Instagram filter for our life. It glows, sparkles and highlights just the best parts.
Yet, even in our most difficult relationships, there was something good at least in the beginning, or we wouldn’t have been drawn there. An aspect of the person we connected with was in alignment. People are complex, their behavior is generally not all good or all bad. We fell in love with the positive and that’s just fine.
I mean, wearing rose colored glasses can feel exciting and bubbly and fun. Who doesn’t like to go to Oz every once in a while?
At any given moment, we’re operating from our current perspective. We are only as aware, as healthy and as conscious as we are right now.
