The difference between hustle and ‘active allowing’…

For anyone who’s an entrepreneur or an employee in a ‘fast-paced’ work environment, there’s no doubt you’ll eventually encounter the pressure to hustle. Work harder, put in longer hours, sacrifice everything to get ahead. A concept that’s been brewing, particularly in American culture for over a century.

Only those who really push succeed. It takes guts and grit and tenacity to make something of yourself.

I bought into the hustle culture for a long time, as a matter of fact, I still find my inner pusher speaking up every day, ‘Shouldn’t you be doing more? Just one more email, one more social media post, c’mon!’

Shhhh, quiet now.

Breathe.

Rest, take a nap, watch a funny video, laugh with a dear friend, cuddle with my cat. Walk in the forest, slow the hell down.

Our society’s obsession with more, bigger, scale, grow, enhance and perfect is unhealthy for everyone. Exceptionally unhealthy for empathic leaders, healers and visionaries. We absolutely need a slow, steady, calm and focused pace.

How in the world are you supposed to tune-in, to allow Consciousness to flow through, if your nervous system is a wreak?
