People who state that other people need to keep being a trash collector because it’s a necessary service are sure as hell not going to sacrifice their days doing something necessary. I didn’t read anything in this article about why collectively we have created a society where most people hate their jobs, feel like what they are doing is useless and unappreciated. Perhaps instead of being angry at people for making more fulfilling choices, we should start there. Perhaps meaningful work should be a right, not a privilege…
