The future is feminine + masculine

On this eve of the summer solstice, when we honor the halfway point between the light and the dark, the yang and the yin, the feminine and the masculine — let us take a moment to move beyond duality.

For many centuries, our world has focused on the outward facing, dynamic (masculine) energy. The activities of building, exploring and acquisitioning have been expressed in both a low vibration and a high resonance. Too aggressive and it runs rampant over others.

The same continuum is true with the magnetic (feminine) power of receiving, nurturing and creating. Not assertive enough and it abandons itself to become a doormat to everyone else’s needs.

Time and again, it’s shown when a culture or even a individual, begins to reject a former way of being, the pendulum often swings dramatically from one side to the other.

Perhaps we need that swing to provide momentum for transformation, but ultimately, it takes so much g-force to maintain the swing’s apex.

What we’re being invited into today, is the relaxation of tension of the hyper-feminine and the hyper-masculine to co-create at the midpoint. In many ways, the chains of codependence as well as the striving for independent success have held us back from this middle ground.
