Well, you're certainly entitled to your opinion, however, since I'm a mentor for spiritual leaders, not a virologist, I'm not certain how I might have had the foresight to predict and prepare for the economic fallout because of a global pandemic. The very nature of business is risk, the market can and does change, sometimes rapidly. No one can completely know or prepare for what's next, it's part of living in a complex, modern society.

I will also state what I tell everyone who perpetuates the idea of a 'government handout', there is no such thing.

I've been an American taxpayer for 36 years, I pay into the system for the collective good and our government officials are simply stewards of the peoples' money. Many people receive the benefit of what my taxes pay that don't benefit me at all (for example, I don't have children, but my taxes partially fund schools).

Until last year, I never asked for anything from our government, never applied for assistance. After 36 years of tax contributions, I think receiving $3000 of my money back to ensure that my business can continue to serve others, is perfectly fine...
