What bothers me most about all of this, is companies focusing on ‘luxury or entertainment tech’ instead of using the huge talent pool we have in developed countries to solve humanity’s largest problems. We don’t need to be more immersed in ‘virtual reality’, we need to pay attention to actual reality, actual human suffering, the future for all. Most people don’t want to be plugged into the matrix, we are craving real life interactions, real relationships and local communities.
