What’s so interesting about your preposition though, is that racist acts have not only been enacted by individuals, but first and foremost by the drafters of our country’s founding documents. Later, by wealthy landowners/political representatives and on and on through our school systems, financial institutions and prejudicial and oppressive laws.

This attempt to block the teaching of our actual history as a nation signals a long standing attempt by those in power to sweep under the rug, the multitude of atrocities our own government has been enacting on marginalized people for hundreds of years.
