While this is an interesting observation about human nature, it also doesn’t matter at all, because regardless of how much material wealth anyone accumulates during their lifestyle, we all leave this planet the same way - with nothing. Therefore, I’m going to spend the limited amount of time I have to be friends with people who are authentic, genuinely have my back and I have theirs, regardless of the arbitrary 1s and 0s in our bank accounts.

By the way, judging people for being ‘unmotivated’ is a bias against the underclass, which ironically almost every wealthy person exploited in some way to get where they are. Snooty? That’s my repellent, get out of here with your sanctimonious attitude, no room for that here…
