Why do men of any skin color insist on being ‘alpha’? Isn’t that the dominance culture that got us into this position in the first place?

I totally and 100% represent your right to fight for your lives, your safety and your equitable place in society (and I will continue to join you in doing so), but to perpetuate the same mentality as white alpha male dominance is not the answer.

Clothing has nothing to do with the character of a person, their strength or their worthiness. It takes a lot more strength to break out of old, patriarchal thinking than to keep it going.

Let’s quit perpetuating the myth of male dominance - all it’s ever done is hurt everyone it touches…
