Why would you include the words ‘innocent’ and ‘pure’? Do you understand how harmful it has been for women to A) be expected to live up to these standards and B) for women to be seen as young girls, which is both in minimizing and creepy. Women are complex, passionate, intelligent, assertive, capable, leaders and many other things.

Gone are the times when women had to stuff ourselves into a box, maybe it’s time for men to stop stuffing themselves into ‘masculinity’ boxes too. We already started down the path of releasing damaging stereotypes, just because you haven’t, doesn’t make our journey wrong…
