You know for most of us who chose to get the vaccine, we really don’t care if other people choose to - most of us believe in body autonomy. But the problem lies in people equating having to cover their mouth temporarily with a piece of fabric so they don’t spread germs with the experience of living through the South African apartheid or the Jewish holocaust. That is such a privileged, entitled and racist viewpoint, I don’t even know where to begin. Freedom isn’t about doing whatever you want without consequences, it’s about taking responsibility and caring for your fellow humans.

It’s time to step out of spiritual adolescence (you can’t make me) and into spiritual adulthood. Go talk with any family member of the millions of people who’ve died so far from COVID or the flu and be this flippant, I’m sure they’ll appreciate your perspective…
